Appointment of Peter Gammel, CEO of Ubilite, to the FCC's TAC Committee

February 28, 2024, San Diego, U.S. – Ubilite is pleased to announce that Peter Gammel, CEO has been appointed to the Technological Advisory Council (TAC) of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). TAC is a committee organized under the authority of the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The appointment was effective February 26 and will continue for the term of the current TAC charter, which expires on September 5, 2025.

The TAC provides technical advice and recommendations to the FCC. The rapid advance of technology has created challenges and opportunities for the growth of telecommunications and use of the radio spectrum. The FCC must remain informed of new developments in technology to continue to effectively fulfill its mission. The participation of Peter Gammel in the TAC enables the FCC to stay abreast of important developments in the telecommunications industry.

This is Gammel’s second TAC appointment demonstrating his unique value and considerable experience to this important FCC body.
